4.14 Seasonal Series

In an effort to allow some exploration of the elite OneWorld alliance and the partners that help connect passengers around the globe, we have started a special program called the vAAirlines "Seasonal Series". The goal is to allow vAAirlines pilots to get a glimpse of various parts of the world by introducing small sample sizes of a particular Oneworld partner airline during a portion of the year. The features will be 20-40 flight schedules added as a new "OneWorld" airline to the flight schedule featuring aircraft that are already in the fleet program (no partner fleets will be added for aircraft not currently in the system such as the A350, A380, etc.) and will connect back to, if able, a handful of regular AA scheduled destinations to allow users to stick with a connected logbook if they wish as much as possible. The following airlines may be featured (with their associated callsign for online flying):

ASA - Alaska Airlines "Alaska"
BAW - British Airways "Speedbird"
CPA - Cathay Pacific "Cathay"
FJI - Fiji Airways "Fiji"
FIN - Finnair "Finnair"
IBE - Iberia "Iberia"
JAL - Japan Airlines "Japan Air"
MAS - Malaysia Airlines "Malaysian"
OMA - Oman Air "Oman Air"
QFA - Qantas "Qantas"
QTR - Qatar "Qatari"
RAM - Royal Air Maroc "Royal Air Maroc"
RJA - Royal Jordanian "Jordanian"
ALK - SriLankan Airlines "SriLankan"

The following are the series names as well as the associated dates:

vAAirlines Spring Series - 01 March thru 30 April
vAAirlines Summer Series - 01 June thru 31 July
vAAirlines Autumn Series - 01 September thru 31 October
vAAirlines Winter Series - 01 December thru 31 January

The series itself will not be CAT FREE and all other parts of this manual remain applicable. The next airline featured will be announced at least one week before the opening of the series.
